Atlanta Hawks Atlanta Sport reviews
Loved the game...just not the result
I love going to Atlanta Hawks basketball games. The atmosphere, the arena, even the food is enjoyable. We don't typically have any problem getting to the parking deck we park at and its an easy walk to the arena. This was a date night for my husband and I. We were having a great time at the game until it was clear that it was slipping away from us :). We stayed until the end nonetheless.
The one thing I will say in this case is that the halftime and time out performances were a little disappointing for it to be the Eastern Conference Finals. Guess I was just expecting a little bit more there.
Overall, I won't hesitate to go to other games.
Great way to experience Atlanta!
This is the second Hawks game we have seen. M husband and I have 3 daughters and we all love the vibe as soon as you walk into the arena. The staff is super friendly, which makes you feel welcomed, especially if you are an out of towner. We have been in the high up seats both times and I think you can see great from anywhere, really. Our only reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 is that we have been to a few different basketball arenas and I feel like the show that is put on during timeouts, the organ music played throughout, the dancing and such could all be better. Let's just say, if the Hawks get behind and the energy gets low, it is easy to forget you are there watching a game at all because the entertainment and music portion doesn't compliment the game enough. However, we would go again without hesitation.
Perfect Game
This was a great game and a wonderful experience at the Phillips Arena . With the exception of the lady scanning our tickets ( she was a little rude ) . The rest of the staff went out of their way to make this the best experience ever .. and it was . ...
OUR seats were amazing !!! Loved it and loved the staff .. thank you all for a great time
This was for my sons birthday and for getting wonderful grades at school . It turned out just as planned .. and stating at the hotel next door just made it easy and convenient.
Limited Accessible seating
My boyfriend purchased two floor tickets for Thursdays game (02/09/23). When we got there and asked someone what was the easiest way to access our seats, everyone was confused. We ended up having to TRADE our seats for some others that were higher, but same section, because they do not have any way for someone in a wheelchair to access the court. Very disappointing to say the least. & the fact that complete strangers got to sit court side on my boyfriend’s behalf did not sit well with me at all. No one offered any type of refund or anything at all for that matter.
One of the greartest nights of my nephews life
That night was one of the greatest for my nephew. He got the chance to see his favorite player Trea Young play and the team beat the warriors. As an aunt it was one one the most exciting nights of my life. I got to take my nephew to his first hawks game and see his face as he watched his favorite player, enjoy good food and have an experience of a lifetime. My nephew had been a bit down about not meeting Trea at the meet and greet a couple days prior but the game through all that sadness out the window. I left that arena with the Auntie of the century title. What an amazing night. Its safe to say "boy, we had a time last night."
Awesome!
We went to the stadium to cheer on the Celtics, but were so impressed with the facility, and awesome fan support for the Hawks and the staff! The staff, especially Fred and this precious lady-I wish I would have got her name, was so helpful in finding seats and getting us to the right place. Fred walked us all the way to our seats (I was pushing my son in a wheelchair). The other lady walked us to our seats for the Friday game. We even hugged-she was precious, and kind-she was die-hard Hawks-us die-hard Boston-but became instant friends. We could not get wheelchair seats, so I paid triple to sit in the Atlanta Social T22. I did not know what I was buying-seats were AMAZING!!! AMAZING!!! The best seats we ever sat in at a game-I may have felt like Beyonce! Thank you!
